Karen Beyer is an Atlanta actress and choreographer who works primarily in film, television and theatre. She has just completed filming Joyful Noise starring Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah to be released on January 13, 2012. Karen will also appear as Cynthia Campisano in the upcoming feature film, Little Red Wagon. Her recent TV credits include: Past Life, Drop Dead Diva, Army Wives, Pregnancy Pact and Front of the Class.

Karen has completed filming Joyful Noise as a member of the Mighty High choir starring Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah to be released in 2012.

Karen is in the feature film Little Red Wagon in the role of Cynthia Campisano, a government worker who helps a young boy become an advocate for the homeless. Little Red Wagon is directed by David Anspaugh. The film is scheduled for release in 2012.

Front of the Class
The true story of Brad Cohen, a teacher with Tourette Syndrome. Karen plays Mrs. Wilkins, an unsympathetic teacher to young Brad. The Hallmark Hall of Fame production is directed by Peter Werner and is now available on DVD. View the reel.

Army Wives
Karen plays the recurring role of Dr. Lisa Sampson in Army Wives (season 2) and on the blooper reel, available on DVD. View the reel.

One Missed Call
In the horror film, One Missed Call, Karen plays Mrs. Ford, the foster mother to a child who holds the key to the mysterious deaths. In this remake of the Japanese horror film "Chakushin Ari" (2003), several people start receiving voice-mails from their future selves -- messages which include the date, time, and some of the details of their deaths. The film is directed by Eric Valette and has been released by Warner Bros. One Missed Call is currently available on HBO and DVD. View the reel.
